Blog design

I figured it was fitting for my first blog post to be about my blog's design. Just trying a few different things out with older/current work.

The main thing I wanted was something that would be seamless when scrolling. After discovering the 'Scroll with page' option that became less important, but still something I wanted to make work. The black/orange/pink background is better executed for it than the Knight background.

My main gripe is the 300k limit, which is why I assume a lot of people use simple backgrounds. From a designer standpoint, obviously that would be the sensible thing to do, but I can't help myself. I can put up with a slightly pixellated image.


I think the black, orange and pink background looks best, but feel the Knight and scroll background more accurately portrays my interests.

Edit: After viewing the preview, the next thing I need to change is the 'Syncopate' font.
